In Phase 1 of the project, 2 container berths with quay length of 800 metres and draft of 16m and capacity of 1.6  Million TEUs / 24 MTPA  would be constructed to cater to larger container vessels upto 18,000 TEUs Capacity

In Phase 2, the Container Quay would be extended by 2000 metres, adding 5 more container berths of 4 Million TEUs capacity.

Besides this, a Coal Terminal of 400 metre in length with handling capacity of 3.3 million tonnes capable of handling capsize bulk carriers up to 1,20,000 DWT, will also be developed in Phase-2.

In Phase 3 of the project, the container quay would be extended by  another 1200 metres adding 3 more berths of 2.4 Million TEUs  capacity.

Along with this one coal terminal of 400 metre coal will also be added to augment the  capacity.

The  total capacity of Enayam Port on full development will be 127 million Tonnes .
